Selfie reunites camera with owner at World Cup

Lost property at the stadium can be traced via the iLost counter and website. By the ninth day of the World Cup, some 200 items had already been handed in. One Australian supporter forgot his expensive Canon camera somewhere in the Hockey Park. It had been handed in at the iLost counter and the owner luckily spotted it on the website. He could even prove it was his because of the selfie he had made.

Bank cards, tournament tickets and hockey sticks are the most common items to become separated from their owner. One thing which has not yet been collected is a Home Loanes notebook from a mega hockey supporter which has been with iLost since June 1. The owner would appear to be an American who has kept detailed records of the matches and players he has seen.  Another item still looking for its owner is a much loved tortoise soft toy.
