World Youth Hockey Tournament

31 May - 8 June 2014

Young players will be taking part in their own World Youth Hockey Tournament during the Rabobank Hockey World Cup 2014. This official side event will give you the chance to play in your own World Cup and enjoy a top-class spectacle at the same time!  Teams from Canada, Austria, India, England, Spain, Belgium, Germany and many more countries have already signed up for the event. But there are still some spaces available.

The organisation of the competition is in the hands of The Sport Department, led by former international Sander van der Weide. The Sport Department is still looking for a few competitors in the following categories: U12 girls, U14 girls, U16 girls, U18 boys and girls. The U12, U14 and U16 boys line-ups are already completed.

Location HC Zoetermeer
The tournament will be played at HC Zoetermeer.  This club has five water-based pitches and is only 10 kilometers away from the World Cup venue.

31 May and 1 June: boys and girls U12 and U14 competition
7 and 8 June (Whitsun): boys and girls U16 and U18 competition
