Australia vs Malaysia Men 31st May

"1st game of the Rabobank Hockey World Cup and its Australia taking on Malaysia in the 1st game from the Men's Pool A. Australia started off strong from the start and took the lead on the 25th minute when Glenn Turner was through on goal and he went round the keeper to put Australia 1-0 up till the break. After Half-Time Australia was again on the front foot creating a number of chances and made it 2-0 when Eddie Ockenden with a dribble down the left and hit the ball into the net. 2 minutes later Australia hit again with Jamie Dwyer cutting inside the middle and slotting the ball in the goal. Australia sealed the win when Glenn Turner converted his Penalty Corner seeing Australia win 4-0. Malaysia did have their chance but a strong Australian team were on the day the better team.
