Korea vs New Zealand - Women 2 June 2014

New Zealand looked to gain their second win of the 2014 Rabobank Women's Hockey World Cup against Korea looking for their first win of the tournament. Subscribe here - http://bit.ly/12FcKAW Korea finally broke the tense deadlock in the 30th minute through a fantastic flick finish from Darae Kim. The goal was the highlight of a hard fought half and Korea went into the break 1-0 up. Korea continued on the front foot at the beginning of the second half and created a couple of good chances. Kayla Whitelock had New Zealand's second shot on target in the 45th minute which was comfortably saved by the Korean keeper. The Black Sticks had to wait 10 minutes for their next real chance which came from a penalty corner which Anita Punt fired wide with a drag flick. Korea then had two glorious opportunities to extend their lead but could not get capitalise on great crosses. However, the one goal advantage turned out to be enough for the Koreans to beat New Zealand and collect their first three points of the tournament.
