Netherlands vs Argentina - Men 1st June 2014

2nd game of the Men's Pool B and it's the hosts Netherlands taking on Argentina. Subscribe here - http://bit.ly/12FcKAW The Netherlands started of the strongest out of the two teams and nearly took when Rolger Hofman shot rocketed off the bar and were close to putting his team in front. Netherlands kept on the pressure and finally got there reward when Netherlands took the lead when a long ball in by Mink van der Weerden and Valentin Verga touched the ball in the net. Before the break Argentina did not give up and were awarded a Penalty Corner and Gonzalo Pellat was on hand to drag flick the shot into the net, it 1-1 at the break. The 2nd half, and Netherlands came out as the stronger team and grabbed the next goal of the game when the converted a Penalty Corner into the net and it Mink van der Weerden who executed shot, putting the Netherlands back in the driving seat. Netherlands kept there positive momentum and added another to their lead when Rolger Hofman shot, this time, sailed into the net, 3-1 Netherlands. The Netherlands nearly grabbed a 4th when a Penalty Corner, shot by Mark van der Weerden, sailed into the net but after a video referral was deemed too high and dangerous and the goal was not given. Argentina had one last chance when Gonzalo Pellat was awarded another Penalty Corner, but Japp Stockman produced a fantastic save, and Netherlands managed to hold their lead and grab the win ending 3-1 to The Netherlands.
