Netherlands vs Korea - Men 3 June 2014

"The final game of day four of the 2014 Rabobank Men's Hockey World Cup featured host nation Netherlands against Korea. Korea took a shock 1-0 lead within 5 minutes to silence the noisy home crowd with Nam Hyun-woo scoring from a penalty corner. The goal woke the Dutch side up and they went close twice before they were awarded a penalty stroke in the 21st minute which Jeroen Hertzberger struck into the bottom corner to make it 1-1. Netherlands dominated the rest of the half but couldn't add to their tally as the teams reached the break tied at one goal each. The first real chance in the second half came in the 50th minute when Korea gifted Seve van Ass with a shooting opportunity right in front of goal but he blasted over. The Dutch kept up the pressure but the Korean defence were steadfast. It took until the 69th minute for Robbert Kemperman to score the winner through the keeper's legs and send the crowd into raptures. The 2-1 win ensured Netherlands went level at the top of Pool B with New Zealand. Welcome to the FIH YouTube Channel where you can watch all the amazing skills, fearless keepers and incredible goals.
