GreenFields Stadium

At walking distance of the Kyocera Stadium there will be a fully-fledged temporary stadium. This venue offers all facilities such as changing rooms including showers and offices for officials and the organisation. The temporary artificial grass field in the GreenFields stadium is identical to the field in the main stadium. This stadium has a capacity of 5000 people, 1000 seats in the stands are covered. The stadium is named after the brand of artificial grass that will be used in both stadiums. GreenFields is a Royal Ten Cate nv company, worldwide market-leader in artificial grass and KNHB partner. It goes without saying that the artificial grass fields are top-quality and have a colour especially designed for the World Cup: dark green.

The construction of the GreenFields Stadium will start in September 2013. On this site you will find regular photo and video updates of its progress.
